Based in the tourism capital of Scotland (UK), at the country’s largest provider of postgraduate tourism education, this programme seeks to develop the global hospitality managers of the future.聽This programme ensures that students are exposed to the latest management practices in the sector as they become familiar with the key academic knowledge associated with global hospitality management.
You鈥檒l develop organisational and business management skills that are relevant to hospitality organisations. Through lectures, guest speakers and case studies, you鈥檒l gain an advanced understanding of the issues and concepts involved in creating successful hospitality experiences.
You鈥檒l learn broad skills, such as formulating policy and planning for the future, as well as developing your abilities in research, time management and presentation methods.
You may incur additional costs during your education at the University over and above tuition fees in an academic year such as laptops, stationary and additional resources.
Throughout this period you will be fully supported by our experienced team of academics and support staff. You will learn by a variety of teaching methods including lectures, guest lectures, tutorials and independent study.
In the third trimester students can undertake a 15 weeks industrial placement opportunity as part of the Professional Practice module.聽 Preparation for this commences in the first trimester with a series of workshops designed to ensure students secure suitable placements in the hospitality industry.

The Pre Masters Program will prepare you for the UK, EU or US study system, giving you the confidence and skills that you’ll need to go further in your studies. Depending on your academic qualification and English language level and chosen programme, you can study the IIM over one or two terms.
